Imagine a sound architect with a collection of inventions. Wild, eccentric instruments controlled remotely. They only make music when you press the button. Now imagine an acrobat who moves to the music. He only dances when you press the button.

ImpulZ is an interactive dance performance with the audience at the controls, and a dancer and a sound doctor on stage.

Who gives the starting signal, and who responds to what—or to whom? Who delivers the first impulse? And what happens if no one presses the button
