After the highly acclaimed EP Are You Lost Here? (2024) and debut single Saturday Silence, which dominated the airwaves, young indie pop singer-songwriter Iskander Moon is set to release his long-awaited debut album in early 2026.

Over the past year, Iskander drew inspiration for his debut record from more than 60 shows across Europe, both at home and abroad. Staying true to his nomadic lifestyle, he worked on the album in various places including Berlin, New York, and a 19th-century castle just across the French border. The result is richly orchestrated alternative pop, where the 24-year-old Iskander shines as a soul balladeer, blending influences from his background as a classical pianist and composer, as well as his experience as a bassist and vocalist in rock projects.

Iskander Moon will present his debut album in March 2026 with his full band at the Ancienne Belgique and De Roma. But before that, he’s eager to try out his new work for the first time through a few intimate solo try-outs. That’s why in October, he’ll perform three piano shows on three consecutive Wednesdays for a small audience in Ghent, Brussels, and Antwerp, respectively. And of course, there’s no more fitting venue in Antwerp for an intimate try-out than the beautiful Salon at De Studio!
