The Bank of England and MI6 deploy secret agent James Bond to investigate the handlings of gold magnate Auric Goldfinger. They suspect Goldfinger is embezzling a large amount of gold bars. At first, the man seems no more than an obsessive tycoon, but then 007 discovers a secret operation that involves Goldfinger. Under the code name “Operation Grand Slam”, Goldfinger is behind a scheme to take down the entire Western economy. Actress Honor Blackman plays the enigmatic pilot and bad girl-turned-good Pussy Galore, head of “Pussy Galore’s Flying Circus”.
