Inside a snowflake, like the one on your sleeve, there happened a story you must see to believe… In een onopvallend sneeuwvlokje huist het magische Whoville, een land waar de Whos wonen en waar Kerstmis de favoriete dag van het jaar is. Juist buiten het stadje woont de groene Grinch samen met zijn hond Max. De Grinch haat de Whos én Kerstmis en plant nu eindelijk eens een einde te maken aan die verschrikkelijke feestdag door alle versieringen, kerstbomen en cadeaus te stelen. Maar een ontmoeting met de lieve Cindy Lou Who, gooit roet in zijn plannen en ontsteekt een vlammetje in zijn koude hart.

Ron Howards HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS viert dit jaar zijn 25ste verjaardag. De performance van meesterbekkentrekker Jim Carrey (enkel overtroffen door de ongeëvenaarde vertolking van hond Kelley als Max) toont overtuigend dat niemand anders dan Carrey de groene pretbederver uit de titel even woest chaotisch als oprecht emotioneel kan vertolken.

Inside a snowflake, like the one on your sleeve, there happened a story you must see to believe… Inside an inconspicuous snowflake houses the magical Whoville, a land where the Whos live and where Christmas is the most beloved day of the year. Just outside the city lives the green Grinch together with his dog Max. The Grinch hates the Whos and Christmas and plans to finally put an end to this horrible holiday by stealing all of the decorations, Christmas trees and presents. But a meeting with the sweet Cindy Lou Who derails his plans and ignites a flame in his cold heart.
