Wanneer de mater familias plotseling ziek wordt, moet de familie Vuillard noodgedwongen opnieuw samenkomen na jaren zonder contact. Een onverwachte kerstreünie waar geen van hen op zat te wachten. Onder hetzelfde dak komen hun lang onderdrukte gevoelens van wrok en verlangen opnieuw naar boven. Met Catherine Deneuve en dochter Chiara Mastroianni (tevens ook dochter van Marcello Mastroianni) in de hoofdrol.

When the mater familias suddenly becomes ill, the Vuillard family is forced to get together again after years with no contact. An unexpected Christmas reunion none of them were waiting for. Under the same roof, their long suppressed feelings of resentment and longing surface again. With Catherine Deneuve and her daughter Chiara Mastroianni (also the daughter of Marcello Mastroianni) as the lead characters.
Director Arnaud Desplechin will introduce the film, followed by the screening and a talk after the film.
